Medellin’s Past Excursion: We will visit the most representative places of Pablo Escobar’s life, including the neighborhood where all started, where he spent time in prison and dramatic escape and death.
Agents of Change: We will meet victims when drug cartels rule the city and visit a marginalized neighborhood working towards recovery, thanks to the help of community leaders.
Comuna 13 Excursion: Explore the innovative social and urbanism strategies that have brought positive change and transformation to Comuna 13 once known as “The Murder Capital of The World.” Meet the real people driving social development and building resilience for a new generation.

Visit the Rock of Guatape: The Peñol Boulder, a spectacular sight in the surrounding area of Medellin. The 200-meter-high monolith can be accessed by climbing 740 steps. Enjoy breathtaking views of green mountains and blue lakes.
Explore the village of Guatapé: A charming town that wows visitors with its colorful buildings and cobblestone streets. Enjoy a private boat ride around the lake’s panoramic view of the town of Zócalos.
Visit a traditional coffee plantation: Learn about the importance of coffee in Colombian culture and economy. See where the beans are grown, and how they are harvested and roasted, and then enjoy your own steaming cup at the end of the tour.
We will culminate our trip at a natural waterfall where you can swim and refresh.

Parque El Salado Excursion: And because you are a nature lover and ready for adventure, we plan a special excursion away from the city to the Ecological Park called El Salado, located on the north side of Envigado, about 30 minutes from Medellin.
With beautiful scenic views of the city, El Salado is an ecological reserve of 170,000 square meters, where you’ll discover a unique variety of plants, flowers, and wildlife.
We will enjoy a nature walk crossing streams, bird watching, and swimming at the park’s natural pools and waterfalls.

Nope! The Colombian visa process is easy to navigate, especially for Americans. If you’re traveling to Colombia as an American tourist, you don’t have to apply for a visa in advance. When you land, show your passport and a valid return ticket, and you’ll receive a standard tourist visa. This is good for 90 days.
